In Service to the Tea Industry !

'Myddleton Stalk Extractor' is a primary machine to begin sorting of Orthodox tea. Before grading the tea stalk fibers are separated. 'Myddleton' is the only equipment which can separate stalks from bulk orthodox tea.

MECHANISM:
Design is simple in mechanism. Twin Main frames made of seasoned wood OR Steel fabricated tray as confirmed consisting of aluminum dimpled - perforated sieves; each provided with lining at the bottom which collects and delivers the tea through ducts at the sides of the machine.
The oscillating motion imparted to these sieve-frames cause the fine teas to pass through the sieves of two different sizes of perforation while stalks, fibers & tea lumps continuously float on the surface and are discharged at the discharge end of the machine. It is essential to maintain a running layer of the bulk of 1" to 1.5" thick from beginning to the end. The operator needs to feed between 1500 Kg. to 2000 Kgs/hour to get optimum result.

MAINTENANCE:
This machine requires almost no maintenance. Only periodical charging of Grease in the Big-end-housings and plumber blocks are needed.

SIEVES:
Design is simple in mechanism. Twin frames made of seasoned wood consisting of aluminum dimpled - perforated sieves; each provided with lining at the bottom which collects and delivers the tea through ducts both sides of the machine.

ADJUSTMENTS:
There are 2 main adjustments one need to make. First, at discharge point of feed hopper to control drop on sieves and second the slope of the sieves.
